Prawns with Ginger and Honey

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 300 gr prawns
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • salt ar
  • evo oil ar

Peel the prawns. With a sharp knife make an incision along the back of each prawn and remove the intestine.

In a wok, or large frying pan, toast te sesame until golden. Now add 4/5 tablespoons of evo oil.

Finely chop the onion and the garlic and add them to the pan together with the ginger and the honey.

Stir-fry for a couple of minutes. Add the prawns and keep stirring for a few minutes, until the prawns have changed colour.

Turn off the heat and serve. I have served it with boiled black rice with just a dash of evo oil and salt.
